The Repacked Podcast is a weekly podcast about Toys, Action Figures, Dolls, Brick-toys and all that plastic crack that we, your hosts, spend waaaay too much of our hard earned cash on.
We finally return to a ‘normal’ episode and don’t have 4 consecutive days of new content out! Back to your regular listening schedule, folks! Welcome one and all to a “bite sized” fun lil’ episode here on the Repacked Podcast where I am joined by Craig, Sami, Kyle and Stu! Enjoy, folks!

Hot Toys Last Stand Wolverine
Here’s a hypothetical question for you. The Battle System from Gundam Build Fighters Try is real. You are part of an underground battle scene who plays with jail-breaked Battle Systems so they work on all plastic toys and not just GunPla. You are captain of a team that joined the Underground Toy Battle Championship, which toys in your collection will you and your team use for battle?
You can deploy up to 3 units that’s maximum 6 inch scale for action figures, Voyager Class or equivalent for Transformers and 8 inches tall for other toy lines.
Vehicles up to 3 3/4 inch scale, personal vehicles and epic mounts in 6 inch scale and Transformers Cyberverse vehicles also count as 1 unit. (e.g. SHF Rider-1 and the Cyclone will count as 2 units)
A toys that separates and combines is counted as one unit but when separated, all these parts must be controlled by one person. The more parts, the harder to control (only a master builder can use Lego sets in battle).
A team may deploy one powerful large toy in place of 3 units but members must control it together. This includes play sets and vehicles that are meant to be play sets (like the USS Flag).
The Battle System can only animate plastic. It can’t animate die-cast. Toys with die-cast parts will have impeded performance.
Customized toys have improved performance over stock toys or straight build model kits. Panel lining alone improves performance of all stats by 7%
For me, I’d take to battle: Transformers Generations Voyager Class Springer, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Fourze Cosmic States with Rocket and Gatling Modules and Transformers Power Core Combiners Skyburst with Aerialbots. This should give my team air superiority since we’ll have both high speed and hovering vehicles and still good firepower and melee potential.
I’m sorry if this is too long. I’m just really liking this new season of Build Fighters and thought of this question after watching an episode. I really recommend the show to all toy people.
